Month 1:

Fundamental understanding on physics behind energy source.

Week 1-2: Basic Training in HandEye Coordination

  • Day 1-3:

    Introduction to hand-eye coordination exercises. Basic surgical instrument handling.

  • Day 4-6:

    Practice basic suturing techniques on models or simulators.

  • Day 7:

    Review and assessment of basic suturing skills.

Week 3: Endo Suturing Techniques

  • Day 1-3:

    Introduction to endoscopic suturing techniques.

  • Day 4-6:

    Hands-on practice of endo suturing on simulators or models.

  • Day 7:

    Review and assessment of endo suturing skills.

Week 4: Multimedia Learning

  • Day 1-3:

    Access and review non-edited surgical videos demonstrating various procedures.

  • Day 4-6:

    Group discussions and case analysis based on the videos.

  • Day 7:

    Assessment and review of understanding from the videos. Arrange for 35 to 50 live case observations in a hospital setting. Ensure diverse cases covering a range of gynecological procedures. Encourage note-taking and active observation during these cases.

Week 1-3: Advanced Training and Hands-On Practice

  • Day 1-3:

    In-depth training sessions covering advanced gynecological procedures.

  • Day 4-6:

    Hands-on practice sessions on models or simulators for advanced procedures.

  • Day 7:

    Review and assessment of basic suturing skills.

Hands-On Training with Live Cases

  • Day 1-3:

    Arrange for 5 live case hands-on training sessions under supervision.

  • Day 4-6:

    Review and assessment of the handson training sessions.

  • Day 7:

    Debriefing and Q&A sessions to clarify doubts and reinforce learning.

Throughout the two-month program, it’s important to provide continuous feedback, encourage active participation, and create a supportive learning environment. Additionally, ensure access to relevant resources, such as textbooks, journals, and online materials, to supplement the training sessions. Adjustments can be made based on the progress and needs of the participants.
